Celebrating a great meet !
While the rest of the country was suffering snow, sleet, hail, floods and rain, the Silken Windhounds of California were racing in the sunshine in Livermore. We turned out 18 dogs on Saturday and 17 on Sunday, including a grand total of 7 FTE entries and 10 SRC & SRCX entries!
Saturday's FTE entries were - Monty, Dora, Dresden, Pele, Blaze and Mariah.
High Score FTE was Monty, High Score Veteran was Gideon, BOS was Ella, High Score hound was Teddy.
And for those of you keeping score - yes, Teddy earned the first SRCXII title in Silken Windhound history! Celebrated appropriatly with champagne and treats all round.
Not to be outdone, Ms. Isis earned 4 SRC points and completed her SRC title.
And Djinn is now over 2/3 of his way to his SRCX!

On Sunday we had one FTE - Jewelle and two Grande Dames - Cinder and Kalisa, who ran beautifully.
High Score FTE was Jewelle, High Score Veteran was Gideon, BOS was Ella, High Score hound was Teddy.
Ella took 3/4 of a point home on Sunday and now needs only a single point for her SRCX!
